This blog is a very informal sharing of my knowledge of cooking. It is not intended to promote any particular type of cooking and will most likely not contain any nutritional facts about the recipes. I am not a professionally trained chef, but a self-taught, adventurous cook who loves to share meals with friends and family.
My cooking style? I look at recipes as just “suggestions” for how to cook a particular dish. Sometimes I don’t even measure so any recipes posted here may or may not result in a perfect product…..that’s the fun of cooking, right?
Warning: some recipes call for real butter, heavy cream, bacon, etc. Your hips may just turn out like mine if you are not aware of portion control!
I just love sharing what I know about cooking with my friends so feel free to ask questions if something is not clear or if a recipe makes no sense at all. All recipes are my own unless a specific source is cited.
