Hello Friends! Welcome to my blog….
Most of you know that I am an avid home cook and a foodie-at-heart. I love cooking and trying new recipes, reading about food, watching tv shows about food, traveling to places where I can try new foods, etc. I live in Colorado but I’m married to a Louisiana Cajun boy so we travel to Louisiana a couple times a year to visit friends and family. I try my best to prepare a lot of his favorite foods so you’ll see my attempts chronicled here in my blog from time to time.
My blog is about……food!! Some recipes are simple, some may be a bit complicated. I just want to share my ideas with you so you can maybe be inspired to prepare these delicious meals at home!
Always feel free to comment and share your own recipes here. Any requests for recipes or questions will be promptly addressed. Here’s to my friends….best wishes for great meals in your lives!
DID YOU KNOW? From 2003 to 2007 I owned my own personal chef business called Queenie’s Kitchen Personal Chef Service. I met some wonderful people and learned to cook a wide range of diets from Atkins to Vegan and everything in between. I worked with several clients and their families who were dealing with cancer and other illnesses. I loved cooking for all my clients but unfortunately had to give up my business due to my own challenging health conditions in 2007. Fortunately for me I am still able to try out new recipes as I cook for my wonderful, supportive family.
